While some girls get their wish [of getting their ears pierced], many end up too scared to go through with it.” says Mrs. Pfaff, a community parent, and creator of EarZings.  Mrs. Pfaff, inspired by her own children, Sophia, in fourth grade, and Scarlett, in senior kindergarten, forms a pain-free, pierce-free, and unique type of earring.

It all sprouted from a mistake.  Sophia received hairpins for a present, with a spiral back just as EarZings have.  Because of the desire to get her ears pierced, Sophia thought they were earrings. Not wanting to see Sophia disappointed, Mrs. Pfaff creatively modified the hairpins and secured them onto Sophia’s ears.  After about four hours, Sophia had completely forgotten they had been on her ears all that time, as they were so comfortable!  Throughout the day, the hair pin influenced Mrs. Pfaff’s big idea.  With lots of revision, and a lot of hard work, Mrs. Pfaff activated a successful business.

With a wide range of styles, from soccer balls to diamonds, these pierce-free earrings are the “new thing.”  As Mrs. Pfaff travels throughout the country, so far she is a big hit, selling her product to many different distributors!  Appealing to various different age groups, this is a perfect gift!  She continues to produce more EarZings and takes ideas from anybody regarding what types of pendants to have on the EarZings.  This product has been booming with business, and Mrs. Pfaff has been traveling the U.S getting boutiques to buy her new product.

“After numerous failed purchases of clip-ons (very painful) and magnet earrings (even more painful), Laura had an idea for a pierce-free earring design to appease her determined child” says Mrs. Pfaff on her website.  Featured on the website are Sophia and Scarlett, her two kids, along with former students here at St. Robert, the Gonzales girls, Marisa and Victoria.

Mrs. Pfaff is doing really well selling her product and is progressing every day. Kids all around want the new EarZings. These EarZings come with style whenever you put them on, even when  you don’t know that they are on! There are many styles that are made such as flowers, cupcakes, hearts, animals, and soccerballs.
