In the past month and a half The Wild Robot movie has been sweeping theaters across the nation. The franchise started off as a book but has recently added a movie to the franchise.

Rotten Tomatoes, one of the biggest movie reviewing companies in the world, has reviewed The Wild Robot. The Rotten Tomatoes scale rates movies from 100% a “Fresh tomato”, and 0% a “Rotten Tomato”. 100% being great, and 0% being horrible. For The Wild Robot movie, it got a 98% by the reviewers from rotten tomatoes. That is a very good rating. Most movies don’t get that kind of rating. The film is constantly being reviewed, so the rating could go higher or lower, at any moment.

Another online source, IMDB, lets people make comments on movies. According to Imbd.com, some people say that The Wilde Robot is “The Best Animated Film I’ve Ever Seen!” This top comment had over 245 likes. This specific comment rated the movie 10/10 stars, matching the opinion of  many other comments made by the public on the site. Thus far The Wild Robot movie has gotten very positive reviews by everyone.

Box office money shows how much the movie made in theaters. According to screenrant.com, The Wild Robot has made more than $260 million worldwide in its first few months. The spending budget to make the film was $78 million. The producers made more than they spent on this movie, which is always a positive.

The Wild Robot movie is rated PG, meaning parental guidance is suggested. This means that the movie can’t have more than two warnings to share with the audience. Warnings are required for acts of violence, foul language, and more. The movie’s target audience is everyone, including little kids who may need parents present for the more difficult moments.

While The Wild Robot has great reviews and box office numbers, most people didn’t assume it was going to be popular.  It didn’t have any big soundtracks or even big-name actors. This doesn’t mean the movie wasn’t good, but it just wasn’t as popular prior to release as some of the other ones.
