Microsoft’s Xbox One vs Sony’s PlayStation 4: who’s on top in this the console rivalry? There has been a huge debate over these next generation consoles. In my opinion the Xbox One is better as I have had better experiences with Xbox, but others disagree.
Sales are an important topic when talking about consoles. In August of 2015, the PlayStation 4 was destroying the Xbox One in sales, with 22.3 million dollars in sales . At that time, the Xbox One only had 12.8 million dollars in sales. The Xbox One is being sold for $350, where the PlayStation 4 is sold for $400 (“Ps4 vs Xbox One: which is better?”). Even though the PlayStation 4 has yielded more sales than Xbox One, the Xbox One is being sold for $50 less than their competitor. Considering the profits, sales, and price, both systems come out even.
Microsoft has added plenty of new features to their Xbox One. One feature allows users to watch television while playing a game, but the downside is that the user has to pay $20 a month for this feature. There are also many different kinds of media on the Xbox One: Netflix, YouTube, and more. EA Access is another feature that allows people with Xbox Live to get early access to games that haven’t come out yet. Microsoft has also has added a Skype feature into the Xbox One, allowing people to socialize. Another feature that will be coming soon to the Xbox One, is Windows 10. This can help Xbox One users control things from the Xbox App on Windows computers and vice versa (Ps4 vs Xbox One: which is better?). This can also help with better streaming of videos. Another important aspect of the Xbox One system is something called backwards compatibility. This means users can play games from the Xbox 360 console without having to go and buy the game for the Xbox One. Also, gamers can play Xbox 360 games that didn’t come out for the Xbox One ever.
The Ps4 also has plenty of different types of media. On the Ps4, it is possible to play music using Spotify whilst playing games (Ps4 vs Xbox One: which is better?). These means that the user can jam out while playing his/her favorite games. Ps4 owners can also watch television on the Ps4. To do this, the owner must go to PlayStation View. This allows him or her to watch whatever is on live TV. However, Ps4 doesn’t have the capability to let anyone watch TV while playing a game, as Xbox One the does. However, just like the Xbox One, the Ps4 allows user to watch Netflix and YouTube. There is also a way to play and rent games on PlayStation Now. This also allows the user to play games from the previous PlayStation (Ps4 vs Xbox One: which is better?).
The battle between the Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One is a hard battle to end. As long as they continue to progress. It really just depends what kind of gamer you are. For me, my vast experience with the Xbox One and the Microsoft gaming system, has swayed my vote towards them! Now, it’s up to you to decide. Which is better the Xbox One or the PlayStation 4?

I prefer PS4 because you cant play Sony’s games on XBox, like spiderman or the show, and you also can listen to music while gaming, the menu is extremely simpler, graphics are much better, there is no latency on PS4. i have played on both, and i have neither.

I think Ps4 is better then Xbox one.The Ps4 controls are harder but it has better features,and better games.But both consoles are great

First of all great story Avery. You really made me think about which one is better. Personally I don’t have any expreince on either, but from what you have stated i would have to say I like the Xbox one better than the Ps4 based on the info given. Again Avery great stroy i look forward to more!

I think the Xbox one is better because it has really nice exclusive game like the Forza series and Halo. Plus there is Skype and voice chats so you can talk to your friends.

I really enjoyed how you said almost all of the features of both consoles (and also backwards compatibility (last time I checked) is not quite out yet) and yet made them both sound so simple. Anyway I think that the Xbox one is the dominant console of the two because of the many more games and and speed of the load times, but anyway that’s just my opinion.
So my final vote is: X-box one is ??
And the P.S.4 is??

Honestly, I think the Xbox one is better than the playstation because it is alot faster, and it has more games than the play station 4. if I had a choice of either one xbox one would be the one for me.

As I am more familiar with the Xbox systems, I have to side with you, Avery! I prefer the Xbox as well! My brothers can take all credit for that as they are the ones that own the gaming systems I have played on!
