The Seton volleyball tournament has ended, and both of the 8th grade St. Robert volleyball teams participated this year. Both of the boys and girls did well in the tournament. The girls had a 4-6 record in the regular season while the boys had a 0-9 record. Both teams were in the first division, which was the hardest division. Overall both teams had a great tournament because the boys did well, the girls did well, and the Sting and CMH was a great environment for the Seton.
The boys had a rough regular season posting an 0-9 record, but they made it to the Seton anyway. They made it to the third round, otherwise known as the round of eight. The boys won three games in the tournament, which was very good because they struggled in the regular season and were expected to do a lot worse.
The girls also did very well, reaching the round of sixteen in division one. The girls had originally been eliminated in pool play, but another team dropped out of the tournament, so the St. Robert’s girls team replaced them. The girls then proceeded to lose in three sets to the runner-up of the whole tournament. Kellen, a member of the eighth grade St. Robert girls volleyball team said, “we did fine because we played some really tough teams and we were the last seed.” Also, Evelyn said, “…we had a lot of fun because it was our last volleyball game as a team.” The girls did great considering they were the last seed.
Finally, the Seton volleyball tournament was held at the Milwaukee Sting Center and Catholic Memorial High School. The Sting, where both St. Robert’s teams played all their games, was a very good environment. The Sting hosted the majority of the tournament. “[The environment] was really fun, ” said Netta, a member of the girls team. Other players were very nervous due to the big crowds that attend the Seton games. William, a member of the boys team explained,, “I was shaking in my boots, I was so nervous.” The crowd was very big and loud for all of the games. Overall, The Milwaukee Sting Center was a great host for the 2025 Seton volleyball tournament.
In conclusion both St Robert teams did great considering their lower rankings, and The Sting and CMH were welcoming hosts to players and viewers alike. The boys team went very far into the tournament being only one win away from a final four appearance. The girls also did excellent for being the last seed.

This article was about the last volley ball tournament for the team. This is very sad but I’m happy they were about to be fun about the tournament. The person who made the article has done an amazing job captivating the attention of so many people. I hope LJ is able to keep pushing out material that shows what St. Robert runs on.
