Taylor Swift and her 10 albums are taking the world by storm with her ongoing Eras tour. With over 140 shows and around 11 million spectators, the Eras tour is the biggest tour in the world right now. Taylor Swift and her team were wise enough to film some of this tour, creating a movie with a compilation of her shows, including backstage footage and more.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie came out on October 13, 2023. The movie was filmed during the three shows at the Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Swift produced this film in order to give her fans more of an opportunity to listen to her music and feel part of the concert experience. Lots of fans were not able to purchase tickets to her show due to high demand and extremely high ticket prices. However, this new movie allowed everybody to get the opportunity to view her concert – even if it is from a movie theater.
In the film’s trailer, Swift says that she put 17 years of music all in one concert for fans to all finally experience. The movie expands that audience of fans to even more. For now, people may only watch the Eras Tour film in the theaters as the movie isn’t streaming on any platforms. In the first weekend, the Eras Tour film brought in about 96 million dollars to the box office in the United States and Canada, and another 32 million abroad. The film came out in theaters around a month ago, but still everybody is eager to watch her concert. Ticket sales have still not seemed to slow, and the film is still a fan favorite.
The movie watching experience made fans clap and cheer as if they were watching the real concert. Many fans enjoyed hearing her speak to crowds between sets, sharing with the audience an explanation of what her songs signify.

I know I already commented but this article is SUPER interesting! Its so awesome how Taylor made a movie of her concert so that fans who couldn’t go to the actual concert, (like me) could still sort of get the experience. I went and the movie was SO good. Its so crazy that 11 MILLION spectators came! I’m so excited because swift just announced that we can watch the movie at our house! Great article! I LOVE Taylor Swift so this was super interesting!

Wow! The Eras tour has 11 MILLION spectators! That is awesome, no wonder she holds the biggest tour in the world. How much the movie and show has been on social media is just absolutely crazy! I saw the show with my mom and it was very long, but exciting to see. My favorite albums are Lover, and Speak Now. Taylor Swift is so awesome and so many other people love her music too!
